About the assignment

You will work as a technical writer in a documentation team. Your main tasks are to create, structure, and maintain technical documentation according to established standards and tools for products and customer projects in a complex technical environment. You will collaborate closely with system engineers and other writers, as well as interact with several departments to ensure that the documentation maintains high quality and is kept up to date.

Your responsibilities:

• Create, update, and quality-assure maintenance and repair instructions, test and troubleshooting guides, as well as software usage documentation.
• Structure information using XML.
• Work according to and further develop S1000D standards.
• Ensure system availability and information quality via the UpTime tool.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and product specialists to ensure that all documentation reflects current technology and functionality.
• Document in both Swedish and English.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in technical documentation or within the electrical/electronics field.
• Education in electrical engineering, electronics, technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with Simplified Technical English (STE), XML, SGML, iSpec 2200, and/or S1000D.
• Experience creating maintenance, test, troubleshooting, and user instructions.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts in a simple and clear manner.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to independently drive the work forward.
